Five Essential Features That Create Success In Your Life

We can all succeed if we practice performance principles. To be successful, one must be committed to personal growth and development, and a willingness to perfect practices that lead to a successful outcome. Like all other practices, developing paths that lead to success requires commitment, consistency, and perseverance.

While traveling, I ate lunch at a busy airport, where I met a waitress I called Paula. This waitress was great. While I was thinking about how wonderful she went to my table and asked "Need something? I have to go to a restroom for a few minutes and I didn't want you to eat anything in my absence."

I've been to many restaurants, but I've never had a waitress to tell me she would have gone a few minutes. Have you?

This was not an imaginary restaurant with white fabrics and dress code. Instead, it was a cost chain restaurant where customers turned in and out quickly. When she returned, Paula again asked if I needed anything. The restaurant was busy and Paula had several tables with many other customers. However, I pointed out that she provided all the great services.

Before leaving the restaurant, I asked how she developed such an unusual service and customer service. She said she had no special training in customer service. However, she had been a waitress for many years. Paula pointed out that her resources were limited, but she was "grateful" for getting a job. She showed great gratitude.

Gratitude can help you get more positive mood and reduce stress and depression. In spite of her circumstances, it seemed that this was true for Paula who did her job while the show was fun.

Her service was exemplary and reminded me of five qualities that help to create success in your life that I refer to as PAULA Guide to Success:
