How to prevent alcohol and drugs

Drugs are a serious disorder. If it is not treated, it can lead to a crisis such as unemployment, residence and important relationships. And as this would not be enough, this addiction can cause illness and even death. Drugs are multilayered and have a variety of causes and factors. With the knowledge we have today, simple anti-drug campaigns, like "just say no" the program back in the 1970's, and even more complex programs like "anti-drugs" are not very effective. The reason for this is that these campaigns do not underlie the causes of drug use but combat the symptoms that are not the cause of drugs.

When most people think of drug problems, their ideas can automatically go to old movies or television series. A rubbish trembling on the street corner, sells her own body for her next party, or a tragic, palsy man lying in a gutter with a needle in his arm or even college girl snatching a line of crystal meth in the frat house bathroom on a wild party. These images are powerful indeed, but drug addiction usually runs at a slow but fixed rate. Months or years pass, at which time the addiction is still able to work at work, maintain a place to live and keep relationships. Drugs or alcohol problems usually go through several stages. Just because someone you know has not missed all that he or she does not need to mean that he or she does not have a drug problem.

One of the most harmful drug use is a prescription drug that closely monitors alcoholic drugs. Look forward to it; We are nation poppers and alcoholic beverages. Since we were children, we learned that if something hurts, we should take the pill to make pain disappear. We also see that children receive prescribing medicines like Ritalin increasingly, as parents and doctors release the line between active, healthy children and ADHD children. Throughout the time we are bombarded with advertisements for analgesics, hypnotics and a lot of other remedies; prescribed and over the counter. Seen from this point of view, a prescription is not difficult to understand. We hardly ask your doctor about the risk of being dependent on drugs, as the use of the drug is almost all problems are so widely recognized. It is so easy to take this medicine without question and before we know, we could make a prescription addiction.

Alcohol consumption is almost as easy to develop for much of the same reason. We live in a culture of drinking. We often go out for cocktails after work or drink beer with friends during a sporting event and give us one, two, three, even six or eight beers each evening. It is normal to constantly go back to the bar at night on a pub. The next thing we know is absolutely alcoholic addiction.

How difficult (or maybe great) it sounds, you're the one who can prevent alcohol or drugs because of choices or decisions you make. Although addiction is classified as a disease, it may be one of the few diseases that people choose to get. Every drug or alcoholic patient started his life as an addict by choosing. You are free to make the same choice or you can choose not to allow drugs to be your disease. It's your choice and whether you like it or not, that's the price you have to pay for being a person with a free will.addiction seat in your life. It is up to you.
